“Sharing the Gift of Friendship & the Privilege of Service!”

Welcome to the website of The Gulf Coast Apollo Chapter of The Links, Incorporated!

On October 7, 1995, we became the 52nd chapter of the Western Area and the 262nd chapter of The Links, Incorporated. Since that time, we have promoted and engaged in educational, civic and cultural activities designed to enhance the quality of life for, primarily, people of African and African American descent. Through our corporate and community partnerships we provide services, programs and education to a Texas Gulf Coast community extending north to Clear Lake City (a Houston suburb) and south to the City of Galveston.

The work of our chapter is done within our five facets: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services and Health and Human Services. Working closely with our sponsors and supporters, we identify critical gaps in services and resources for those most in need and respond with programming that impacts and improves the lives of individuals, families and communities.

Our members are women committed to service and friendship. We are entrepreneurs, accountants and educators. We are homemakers, lawyers and engineers. We are writers, doctors and businesswomen. We are scientists, social workers and consultants. We are united in our desire to change lives and change the world.

We hope you enjoy your visit to our website - getting to know us better and exploring the many programs and activities we offer in delivering “World Class Service!”
